1. Outdoor Yoga with Studio G – www.studiog.fit.com
I would have to say Yoga outside is the best way to practice yoga and truly relax by letting the outdoors calm you as you fall into your yoga movements and positions. Studio G is a boutique fitness gym which is located downtown Twin Falls. They hold an outdoor Yoga series through June and July. The Yoga series is located at several beautiful parks around Twin Falls. It is a great way to get to know the beautiful public parks here in the area. Who knows you may end up picnicking there with family or friends later. Studio G also does Yoga at Holeinsky Winery in Buhl as well as Yoga at the Farm in Jerome. It is a great way to meet new yogis and see new local places.
2. Camp out and Swim at Nat Soo Pah – www.natsoopah.com
This campground is open every day from May 1 to Sept 6th they have been a providing Southern Idaho Families fun and memories for over 100 years. Book your camping spot for a night or a weekend. There may even be room for a family reunion. The camping park has plenty of trees for shade. There are day areas for family BBQ and birthday parties.
Nat-Soo-Pah has magic mineral water to sooth your stiff joints and achy bones. The pool facility has nice dressing rooms and bathroom, game area, snacks and a fun slide and diving boards for every preference of fun! Warm or Hot Tubs for just relaxing and soaking up the hot miracle water.
3. Auger Falls Park – www.visitsouthidaho.com
Auger Falls is a 680 Acre natural park located next to the Snake River. Purchased by the City of Twin Falls in 2002. Auger Falls Heritage Park is an awesome place to enjoy the natural landscape of the canyon. Anytime of the day you can hike, run, bike the park. I prefer the early morning or late evening in the spring, summer, and fall. Wintertime is great to get out and get some fresh crisp air in our native Idaho landscape. As you near the river you will see Auger Falls billowing through the canyon. Mermaid Falls can be seen there too. The park has a nice parking lot and bathroom area. Great trails to experience and information signs telling you about the History of the canyon and Auger Falls location.
